Hi Again! After 13 years operating our restaurant at the Harbour Quay in Port Alberni we decided it was time to downsize and offer our food in a different format. Now we are able to offer fresh and frozen favorites and new items to eat at home. This allows us to take days off and enjoy life outside of work again but still do what we love.

The lowdown and fun facts:

• We moved to 4473 Gertrude Street in Port Alberni (no table service)
• We are still making our famous Candied Salmon Chowder
• We are open for retail sale Tuesday to Friday 11:00am to 5:30pm
• We continue to be available for catering seven days a week
• We have tons of parking behind our building that is accessible by the front driveway or the back lane off of Southgate
• We will update our menu weekly but check Facebook for mid-week additions
• We can accommodate most dietary needs, upon request
• There will be more to come as we grow into our new space

Brad DeClercq is an experienced Chef with over 25 years in the industry. Brad has built his career on passion and sheer enjoyment for what he does. Brad has worked in resorts and restaurants in British Columbia and Alberta. He is a big fan of Port Alberni and a passionate dart player. For 13 years, Brad and Kelly, along with a team of amazing staff throughout the years, operated The Starboard Grill at the Harbour Quay until its sale in late 2025. We now look forward to serving you delicious foods to enjoy at home on your schedule.
